Unilever
With a product range of more than 400 brands, Unilever is a transnational consumer goods company. The Tipton County plant produces some of the ice cream brands and affords Unilever with solid infrastructure and access to excellent transportation systems. Unilever holds 36% of the capital investment in workforce and also works with other local businesses to support their industries.
Mueller Industries
Since 1917, Mueller Industries has been a global leader in the manufacturing and distribution of copper, brass, aluminum, and plastic products. The Tipton County plant produces products for the plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration industries. Mueller Industries chose Tipton County for its skilled employees, many of whom have been there for decades, as well as its access to excellent transportation resources.
CSC Sugar LLC
A raw sugar supplier, CSC Sugar LLC has been an industry leader since 1993. CSC Sugar LLC located its manufacturing facility in Tipton County because of its proximity to its food and beverage customers, including Unilever, as well as the solid transportation systems. Since moving to Tipton County, CSC Sugar LLC has built a 200,000-square foot building, expanded and added jobs and reduced its environmental impact by relocating its manufacturing facility closer to major customers, like the nearby Unilever ice cream plant.
